Ringleader Entertainment Company Enters Agreement With Sony Pictures For "The Devils Tomb"

May 1, 2009 - Beverly Hills, CA - Ringleader Entertainment, through its Ice Cold Productions banner, has entered into a licensing agreement with Sony Pictures Home Entertainment to handle certain North American home video, television, and new media distribution rights to the film "The Devil's Tomb" starring Cuba Gooding Jr., Ray Winstone, and Ron Perlman and directed by Jason Connery.  The film will be released theatrically on May 14, 2009 followed by its home video release on May 26, 2009.

The film follows the exploits of a mercenary squad led by Mack (Gooding Jr.) whose services have been contracted by a shadowy organization led by a mysterious agent (Valerie Cruz) to help retrieve the head of a scientific team (Perlman) that has gone missing under the Middle Eastern deserts.  With the help of his team of hot-shot soldiers (including Taryn Manning, Zack Ward, Franky G, Stephanie Jacobsen, Jason London, and Brandon Fobbs) Mack must overcome the horrific events surrounding the disappearance and fight his way past the last survivors of an experiment gone terribly wrong (including Bill Moseley, Henry Rollins, and Sarah Ann Morris).  The Devils Tomb is filled with state-of-the-art special effects and non-stop action that will take audiences on an exciting quest to an incredible discovery that has been buried for thousands of years.

"We're very excited that Sony Pictures Home Entertainment was selected from the many studios that pursued this project," said Steve Harris, president of Ringleader Entertainment and Managing Director of The Film Alliance, LLC.
