Synopsis

A team of mercenaries under the command of hard-charging war veteran Mack (Academy Award® Winner Cuba Gooding Jr.), are contracted by a mysterious CIA operative (Valerie Cruz) to rescue a scientist (Ron Perlman) working on an archeological discovery deep under the Middle Eastern desert.  Mack and his team of fighters (including Franky G., Zack Ward, Jason London, and Stephanie Jacobsen), though still mourning the loss of their former commander and friend (Ray Winstone), eagerly accept the assignment. 

Once inside the underground installation it becomes clear that something has gone terribly wrong.  Using the skills of a computer expert on his first mission with the team (Brandon Fobbs), the soldiers of fortune push deep underground where they encounter disturbing artifacts of the experiments and the scientific team conducting them (including Bill Moseley).  When the team’s medical technician (Taryn Manning) loses her grasp on reality the group’s worst fears and darkest nightmares manifest all around. 

With the help of a mysterious priest (Henry Rollins) Mack soon discovers the true secret of what has been uncovered under the sands.  A secret that forces Mack to confront the demons of his past and discover life’s true choices.  A secret that has been protected for thousands of years.  A secret that is not of this Earth.
